Stroller Dance Flash Mob

Imagine a large dance Flash Mob with pregnant mothers, moms, dads, grandmothers and caregivers with the baby/toddler in a carrier or stroller! For 5 months, a group of 15 moms with their babies met every week to build a choreography to be taught as a dance flash mob in March 2011. It happened at Creekside Community Recreation Centre, in Vancouver’s Olympic village. The performance was March 19th 2011, at 2 pm, outside Creekside Community Centre.

The entire process is documented here:

Thank you to Amanda Lye for the beautiful documentation of the process and to Creekside Community Recreation Centre and the City of Vancouver through the Artists in Communities Program.
This project has been possible with your support.
