Dance Traces

Dance Traces happens when people paint or draw a footprint map of a dance of their own invention in the public space. Dance Traces are left in the public space for passers-by to try them. Using non-toxic and water soluble materials, the Dance Traces are not permanent.

I conducted this activity in 2008 as part of the Francoforce tour across francophone communities of Canada, presenting musicians, actors, dancers and visual artists.
