Weekend Dancing the Parenting intro classes at Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre

This program welcomes families who would like to try relationship based dancing with their children (0-4). The class includes playful and creative exploration of developmental movement patterning and engages parents into their own dancing just as much as the children.

Sundays October 22 to November 15, 2015 from 10am to 10:45am

Location: Moberly arts and Cultural Centre, 7646 Prince Albert St, Vancouver, BC (free parking)

Come with comfortable clothes to move, long pants/leggings that cover the knees are strongly recommended both for parents and children. Dancing barefoot is best for the dance floor surface.

Dancing the Parenting intro classes at Trout Lake Fall 2015

This program welcomes families who would like to try relationship based dancing with their children (0-4). The class includes creative exploration of developmental movement patterning and engages parents into their own dancing just as much as the children. The class is in the martial arts studio, it offers a secure environment for movement exploration.

Wednesdays Sep 16 to Oct 21, 2015 from  9:30am to 10:15am in the Elm Room.

Come with comfortable clothes to move. Children come as they are!

Dancing the Parenting documentary premiere screening!

Dancing the Parenting, Process and Testimonies is a 10 min documentary on the creative process of a group of parents and their children aged 0-4 years old dedicated to dance and performance led by choreographer Julie Lebel.

The documentary was filmed and edited by Brian Lye and will be shown at this event for the first time.

Friday September 25 2015 from 5:30-7pm (showing from 6 to 6:10pm).
Creekside Community and Recreation Centre, multi-purpose room nb 4
1 Athletes Way, Vancouver, BC (map)
Free (donations welcomed).
